Little Chefs  grades Pre-K - 1

Get ready to get cooking this week as you spend time in the kitchen, creating a variety of fun tasty treats! Campers will have the opportunity to mix, bake, and create while gaining confidence in the kitchen. We will have a variety of healthy choices, as well as sweet treats. 

Color Craze grades Pre-K - 2

Color monsters, Rainbows and Tye Dye Galore! Come explore the many ways we use colors through art, reading and play! We will paint, dye and mix colors all week long as we hunt for colors in God’s beautiful masterpieces both indoor and out! It is going to be a COLORFUL week of summer fun!

Bluey   grades Pre-k-1

Join us for a week of tail-wagging fun inspired by the Disney show, Bluey. We'll use our imaginations to create a world of adventure with games like Keepy Uppy and Pass the Parcel. Then we'll make our own paw-print art and Bluey puppets before we switch to Dance Mode for a howling good time with our mates. It will be pawsitively delightful!

Build-A-Car Derby grades 2-5

Get your motors running to head out on the highways and tracks that campers will create together. Experiment with building racing machines each day based on a different daily challenge. Campers will design, build, decorate, and race thier own mini derby cars in an exciting daily competition. This camp is designed to be screen free, amazingly fun and challenging!

Artstravaganza grades 2-6

Join us for our Artstravaganza! We will be learning about art from Mona Lisa to Van Gogh, recreating their art in a fun and easy way. Each day will be a canvas of fun-filled art exploration. This art camp will be fun & whimsical with some out-of-the-box style art. 

TV Reporting Camp grades 3-6

Become a reporter for Eagle News Network junior in this exciting camp for 3rd through 6th graders. Campers will produce their news show that will be shown on the last day of class, and learn the ins and outs of news writing, reporting, filming, and editing. On the last day of camp, campers will get to take a field trip to the lakeside campus and tour the high school Broadcast Journalism set. 

Christmas in July grades 3-6

Join us for a week of Christmas activities in the heat of the summer! Together we will make some holiday sweet treats, plenty of arts and crafts, and even decorate a gingerbread house to enter into our very own camp contest. You’ll be feeling the Christmas spirit as we make ornaments and even sing some Christmas carols! Come dressed in your favorite Christmas shirts or Christmas colors if you like!

Forensics/Detective Camp  grades 3-6 

This Forensics/Detective Camp aims to develop your child’s interest in forensic science. By using investigative techniques and scientific methods, your child will learn how to solve the mysteries behind crime scenes. We will learn how to collect evidence such as fingerprints, shoe and tire impressions, and trace evidence.

American Girl Dolls Create! grades Pre-K-3  1-4PM

Have fun with us this week as we bake, make jewelry and crafts with our dolls! It's a make it and take it week with tons of great activities for you and your doll. Let your imaginations go wild!

Little Farmers grades Pre-K - 2

Come on down to Old McKirk’s Farm at SCS! Your little farmer will explore the life of our chickens on campus and the other assets that our farm brings to the school! There will be crafting, exploring and playing with farm themed sensory, art and outdoor play! 

Space Exploration grades Pre-K - 2

Kids Can Cook  grades Pre-k-1

Does cooking with the colors of the rainbow sound fun? We will learn about and use fruits and vegetables in preparing our snacks. We will learn what color has to do with nutrition and the benefits of colorful food. We will make rainbow fruit and veggie trays, rainbow cupcakes, and rainbow jello cups....and SO much more!

SCS Summer Coding Club grades 3-6

Come be a part of the SCS Summer Coding Club taught by Lakeside Robotics and Computer Science teacher, Mr. Danny Roberts. Students will develop important problem-solving skills, improve their logical and analytical thinking, and enhance their creativity. Not only that but they will also gain practical experience working on real-world projects and collaborating with other young coders. Besides being a lot of fun, the skills learned through this club can prepare them for future career opportunities in fields such as computer science, engineering, and technology! 

Acting & Improv  grades 3-6

Let's have fun performing with your friends. Bring your imagination to life through improv games. We will be acting out scripts and much more. Be ready to shine like the star you are!

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles by Snapology grades K-3 

Transportation is all around! Cars, buses, trains, and airplanes are all important for communities and the world to stay connected. In Snapology’s Planes, Trains, and Automobiles program, your little learners will explore the importance of transportation and build models of cars, trains, boats, and more using Kid K’NEX®. Most importantly, they will experience important social interactions while working with a partner and learning with the group. Get ready for your child to come home with a whole new set of transportation facts!

Painting Party Summer Style  grades 1-4

Every day will be a different paint party and you will complete new art each day! You will have completed 5 fun summer-themed paintings at the end of the week.  We will sip on refreshing sodas and summer-themed treats while painting our way to a collection of artwork you will be proud to hang. There will be themed snacks and crafts to go along with the painting of the day.
